We were greeted by a fantastic surprise today when the brand new Harrods McLaren F1 GTR was delivered.
This model has been scheduled for release but no-one was sure exactly when it would break cover. We were the lucky recipients of the Scalextric car, thanks to Hornby. We had suggested this livery on a forum back in 2018 and as our car was one of those chosen to be made into a Scalextric car, we were awarded with one of the new models. It is a lovely looking car and I think the yellow and green livery is really one of the standout schemes.
The McLaren F1 GTR is one of our all time favourite GT cars and we cannot wait to get this on the track and see how it performs. We are now tempted to add more McLarens to our collection, although we do already own a few of the Slot-it long tail versions, so maybe we will give this a test run before making a final decision.
